These terms govern use of the ProdRescue website. Separate written terms, proposals, statements of work or agreements may apply to paid services and take precedence for the relevant engagement where they conflict with these website terms.

Website use

You may use this website to learn about ProdRescue and make legitimate enquiries. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious material, automate abusive requests or use the service unlawfully.

Enquiries are not engagements

Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship, guarantee availability, constitute acceptance of a project or create an obligation to perform work. An engagement begins only when its scope and commercial terms have been accepted.

Technical information

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to provide any systems, code, data or technical information supplied for assessment or work. Do not submit credentials or highly sensitive material through the public enquiry form.

Services and estimates

Preliminary comments, estimates or observations made before formal assessment are based on information available at the time and may change when the underlying system is inspected. Deliverables, fees, payment terms, timelines, responsibilities and acceptance criteria should be defined for each engagement.

Security work

Security testing, investigation or access to systems will only be undertaken where appropriate authorisation exists. Clients are responsible for establishing authority over systems submitted for security-related work.

Intellectual property

The ProdRescue name, website copy, design and original website materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights relating to client work are governed by the agreement applicable to that engagement.

Third-party services

This website may depend on third-party infrastructure or security services. ProdRescue is not responsible for outages, changes or failures caused solely by third-party systems outside its reasonable control.

No guarantee of outcome

Software and security work can involve systems, dependencies and conditions outside the consultant's control. Unless expressly agreed in writing, no particular commercial, operational or security outcome is guaranteed by submitting an enquiry or using information on this website.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, use of this public website is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability relating to professional services is governed by the applicable engagement agreement.
